Malaysian Airlines flight 17 was shot down by “terrorists” using Russian anti-aircraft system Buk, Anton Geraschenko, advisor to Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs, told CNN. The plane was shot down near the town on Torez in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, he said. The plane was flying 10,000 meters above the ground. Geraschenko told CNN that people are looting items from the plane’s debris.
