... Malaysian Indian (MI) vs Immigrant Indian (II) business I bought 2 new pants and it needs length adjustment. Went to 2 shops, and this happened: Shop 1 MI : I walked in, the local lady asked what I wanted, I said new pants needs alteration, not urgent. She immediately said these: - tailor not around - shes not taking jobs until Deepavali ends - shes not even considering to look at the pants - she turned me down even before I can say anything Shop 2 II: I crossed the road, went to the shop operated by II. He welcomed me, immediately got off the tailoring machine and attended to me. I showed him the pants, he said this will take 30 minutes. I told him, dont interrupt your current job as its not urgent. I asked if hes busy, he said very busy for Deepavali, but can manage. He charged RM10 for 2 pants, I paid and left. Will collect pants later. In my mind, MI business vellingirum with such attitude. No wonder II and other nationals businesses are flourishing in Malaysia
