Male Singers Application Details Reference Number: 3049 Royal Caribbean International is holding auditions for Singers for their newest vessel Allure of the Seas to perform in the Broadway production of ‘Chicago’ and ‘Blue Planet’ – their newest and most innovative aerial show. This is an open call: 12 November Pineapple Dance Studios 7 Langley Street Covent Garden Sign in 11:30pm; audition 12 noon 13 November – callbacks Singers are to come prepared with their best 16-32 bars of 2 contrasting up-tempo pieces; the first piece should be a musical theatre number and the second piece contemporary, pop/rock and R&B. Sheet music is required in the proper key. Singers will be taught a movement combination. Singers will also perform in their second production show. Vocal versatility is a plus. Roles to cast: BILLY FLYNN: lead, baritone/strong mover, playing age 30s to 50s, dashing good looks and charm, a smart wheeler-dealing lawyer good at manipulating truths with a likeable demeanor. They are seeking a strong mover. AMOS HART: baritone, playing age 30s to 50s, Roxie’s gullible husband, a vulnerable social misfit blind to Roxie’s true colours by his needy love for her. MARY SUNSHINE: counter-tenor – falsetto (soprano range – high Bb), they seek a male to play a female, a talk-show hostess, gossipmonger who feigns a good-natured exterior to grab the scoop for her gossip column.
