Male and female charged – steal from motor vehicle, trespass, goods in custody About 2:40am on Tuesday 3rd September 2013 a 50 year old Canley Vale man and a 41 year old Allawah woman outside Canley Vale Railway Station on First Avenue, Canley Vale when it is alleged the woman approached a black Toyota parked in the drive way of a house on First Avenue. The owner of the car heard a car door open and came outside to see the woman at the boot of his car and the man standing across the road. The owner allegedly saw the woman hand the man a spare set of keys he kept in his car. The owner contacted police who arrived and arrested the man and woman. The man was searched and was allegedly found carrying property belonging to the owner of the car and another person not present. They were taken to Cabramatta Police Station and charged. A 50 year old Canley Vale man was charged with two counts of “goods in custody.” He was granted bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on the 17th September 2013. The woman was charged with the offences of “Enter inclosed lands” and “Larceny”. She was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court later on the 3rd September 2013.
