Malik is currently pursuing a MA in Political Science & Public Administration at the University of Nairobi, and has become a leading activist against tribalism and negative ethnicity. A founder member of the Inter-Ethnic Forum (IEF) together with other members of the Forum, which includes PLDP Alumni, Malik pursues inter and intra ethnic dialogues and discussions aimed at helping Kenyans address perceptions, prejudices and stereotypes that continue to contribute to conflict. “National cohesion will not happen until we confront tribalism openly, admit that we all harbor it and decide as a people to change he says.
