Malta takes a step forward to qualify for the semi finals after beating Scotland in a close game that took extra time to finish. Some comments from one of Malta stars Samuel Deguara (25pts 11 rebounds) after the game, Our team approach was really good after the experience we had in the friendlies at Trieste. Scotland played a strong physical game this afternoon, yet we managed to stay in the game till the end, especially during overtime. Everyone gave his best, and now we are going to focus on our next game. We are taking a game by game approach,we fight every minute and second of the game, as we want to do our best for our country.
