Mama Buns here: Oi What a bad nights sleep. Top it off got the lovely once a month friend that decided to come. Better now than during move. So anyway I am so tired I gave Hunni Buns the PM only med what is Medtacam. I talked to a vet the birds have seen but HB has not. She said it is okay and to switch to am. And it may have been for best as she may have need it as to get through the hump of not having the patch on. The Buprenor was doubled and I told for sure give it to her every 8 hrs. Prob with this as her mouth may not be absorbing it good enough. So after Mike is done donating plasma will be a good test to see how she is doing. If she ends up shaking with every breath I will have to learn how to give this to her by shot. The only other oral pain med her body did not take to it good while she was there. I am allowing her to be on the bed with me if she is next to me and I awake. Right now giving the meds time to kick in before I put ice on her leg. My hip is better but I have a migraine from lack of sleep, sleeping with light on, and at one point when did sleep good slept funny on wrist. Oh not sure if I told you she smells different. Not sure if a med she on here and was at vet as she came home smelling different. Or if the patch, injection, or IV meds made her smell different. I finally got nose licks in middle of night when I checked up on her. She ate her breakfast on her own too despite shaking in pain. Now the inside of thigh is really bruised. Must have came out all of the way.
