Mama Carol has been gone for 9 days and its been a heartbreaking and devastating loss for a lot of people. My hearts been broken as I shuffled into church again yesterday to pray for peace. Today was the first day Ive smiled in, well, 9 days. Just this afternoon I felt her place an angel wing on my shoulder and guide me to this song. This woman had love and glitter flowing through her veins. Not a selfish bone in her body, shed hurt to see me hurting so badly. I smiled as I listened to this song and actually laughed as I read the lyrics because its so Carol Barker. In my broken heart, I know shes dancing around Heaven, smiling and spreading love with her Mother and everyone else that was ever dear to her. She was so beautiful. To honor her, Im going to go ride bikes with my children and not waste an opportunity to tell my husband how much he matters when he comes through the door this evening.
