Mama (English) 6/10 Genre: Horror Director: Andrés Muschietti Cast: Jessica Chastain, Megan Charpentier, Isabelle Nélisse Year: 2013 Mama started pretty well and continued the same but had a pretty average ending which was kind of disappointing. The best part of the film were the two child actors who were simply brilliant in their performances specially Isabelle Nélisse. The story is about two girls who live in an isolated cottage for years after their father left them there finds a mysterious protector. Andrés Muschietti was not bad in his direction and does scare you on few occasions. Jessica Chastain impress you as one of the lead character but its the kids who stole the show in terms of acting. The film uses CGI effects for the ghost instead of make up and stuff and overall was not that bad. Another nice and spooky horror flick.
