Mama, You have always told me; Kimi, you are a bird in an open cage. You have to spread your wings and fly high, but you know that you can always return to your safe home. No matter what, you have always believed in me. You are the lion protecting and fighting for her cubs. You are the strongest warrior of all. You have fought so hard for other people in this life, and you still do. You have neglected yourself for a long time and gave everything you had to serve others like a true Bodhisattva. You give without expecting anything in return and unconditional love to those around you. Life has been, and is destroying your physical body on the inside and still you are wearing your brightest smile. With pride and honor you stand. With an ill body you are strong and with no money you are rich. You have been and will always be my example and inspiration. Being raised by you I learned to appreciate the small things in life. Im so thankful for this gift. Remember that 6 hour bicycle ride for that one special sandwich? I will never forget the taste. Best sandwich ever! You know what else? You are crazy (in a super good way!) and I love it! Singing, dancing, making weird jokes and laughing until tears roll down our cheeks. Im so happy and proud to be your daughter! I feel like I have been blessed with your energy and light. You have given me so many good things (except for the big feet.. really). No mountains too High and no Ocean too deep, right Mom! But you know what? The best part of my Journey is always coming home in your arms. Never forget Mom, YOU are my home, no matter where you are. I can feel at home at many places, but my real home will always be with you. I honestly dont know what I would do without you. Happy Birthday Mama
