Mama always told me not to look into the eyes of the sun. But Mama, thats where the fun is. No, not really. Never look directly at the sun. It really will blind you in fairly short order. Pinhole cameras are a cheap and easy way to view an eclipse. You can also buy eclipse glasses (polarized plastic lenses). If you have a telescope, you can use eyepiece projection to make the image large and comfortable to view.
