Chakraborty will join luminaries like Rekha and Sachin Tendulkar in the RS. Given Trinamools numbers in the Bengal assembly, his win is considered just a formality. Banerjee announced the actors nomination on social-networking site Facebook. Chakraborty is a well-known film personality. He has devoted his life to the cause of cultural and social activities with great success. He is an asset not only of West Bengal, but also of the entire country. She told me that I can relate to the masses and she wanted me to do that in a better way, he said.
