Mamelodi Sundowns have finally paid striker Edward Manqeles salary. Manqele is going through difficult times. He is a family man and his wife is expecting a baby and you can imagine what he is going through, the youngs man life, says his agent Josiah Mphono. He has a bond and a car to take care of but how is he going to pay them when there is no money in his account? It messes up his credit record for the future, he adds. Mphono expressed his surprise at why Sundowns paid Manqeles salary if they claim he belongs to Chippa United. It was only after our lawyer sent them a letter and preparing to add more charges that they paid the salary. They said they are paying on behalf of Chippa United. But if a player is belonging somewhere else, why are they paying his salary and not paying his signing-on fee? The matter is with the DRC and our wish is for the player to get his clearance and continue playing his football, concludes Mphono. #CHAMP
