Mamie “Pearl” Sharp, 75, of Mount Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at her residence. She was born on July 15, 1937 in Wabash County, the daughter of William and Velma Cash. She worked as a CNA at Oakview Heights Nursing Home for over forty years. Pearl was very loving and generous to all who knew her. She worked hard to raise her family whom she loved with her whole heart. Pearl had a great love for all animals, especially her dogs. Pearl is survived by her children, Kenneth (Kim) Cash, David (Angie) Sharp, Robin (Roger) Crouch, Todd Sharp, and Michael Trebuth all of Mount Carmel; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Stanley) Cummins of Edmond, OK; several nieces and nephews. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marge Romero; brothers Harold Cash, Earl Cash and Marvin Ferguson. Family and friends may gather from 12:00pm until 1:30 pm, July 6, 2013 in the Chapel of Family Tradition Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Allendale Cemetery with Mark Richison officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Pearl’s memory to the Wabash County Shelter Buddies, 11336 North 1550 Blvd, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
