Man, 70, attacked with sword in Ballajura An elderly man was attacked with a sword during a home invasion in Ballajura this morning. A police spokesman said two men smashed their way through glass doors of the Bullfinch Way house just after midnight. The 70-year-old resident, who was sitting at his computer, confronted the pair and sustained a cut to his hand from a sword or a large knife. The assailants stole cash and an iPad. Police described the men as white males and about 163cm tall. They were wearing dark clothing. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
