Man Bikes 11,200 Miles in 365 Days for the Best Ride Ever Some bike for exercise, others for transportation, but Felix Starck hopped on his bicycle to travel the world. What started off as a joke between friends and an inspiration to break away from the everyday life turned into a 365-day, 11,200-mile journey through 22 countries. Starck wanted to meet new people and explore different cultures, but a standard backpacking trip wouldnt suffice. Along the way, Starck filmed his journey and is releasing an hour-long documentary surrounding his expedition called Pedal the World. During his experiences, Starck witnessed a number of instances of abuse and poor conditions against animals, so he will be donating 1€ for every copy sold to the World Wildlife Foundation.
