Man, I love reading The Upper Room on a nightly basis. It is like God is hitting me upside the head with the Bible with some of the things I have done. Here is the trick, the hard part isnt reading it, its putting what you read in scripture to practice in every day life. I have been guilty on multiple occasions of doing wrong and just praying and saying I am sorry to God, but only when I apologize and own up to what I have done to the person I have wronged have I fully accepted responsibility for my actions and really humbled myself before God so he can lift me up. I dont want to let foolish pride stand in the way of me receiving my blessings. Not being to big to say your sorry is true. It is freeing on your conscience , and feels good to just do whats right, strong not weak. Ha, it only took me 42 years to figure that out!!
