Man...I need to ditch my day job and open up a freakin restaurant. Grabbed some grass-fed angus beef for myself today. (The cut usually used to make chicken fried steak,) Instead of doing that though, I cooked it in a saucepan with olive oil. Sprinkled a little salt, lots of pepper, and BASIL. Let that cook for a while, flipping the cuts of beef over every few minutes as I prepared other stuff (rice, green peas, southwestern corn and my soon-to-be-famous homemade coleslaw). That first bite of the meat? Heavenly.
