Man I really scalded my hand and my wrist badly....from the clothes steamer as I was steaming a dress to go out for dinner tonight. Gosh the steamer is bloody hot and can do serious damage...like first degree burns. Keep your kids away from it when you are using it....and be careful yourself. I put my hand behind the dress and the steam went through and it was instantaneous burn. Now nursing an ice pack while on way out to meet friend. Sigh. Still lucky its left hand and not right one. But man...is it red and painful.
