Man Im sick of these do gooding bastards! These bunch of absolute wankers dont have the slightest clue of what happens on a dairy farms. Growing up on a dairy farm for 19 years and my old man and pa being dairy farmers the majority of their lives, I can 100% garentuee everything that the Courier Mail have slapped together is total bogus. Agriculture in Australia is hard enough for the cockie out there as it is. The banning of the live export a few years ago is still taking its toll on farmers. Rarely did you hear how many farmers took there own lives as a result of that ban. Now these clowns are writing about how terrible dairy farms in Australia are. My dad who most of you know is one of the most loyal and caring blokes you will ever meet. Never, ever have I seen him put a beast in any of these situations. Dad like many dairy farmers, did it for the love of the land and love of the dairy cattle. It has been bloody tough for a cockie to make it in dairy industry the past 2-3 years. With the Coles and Woolworths $1 a litre milk war, rising electricity and water costs, having these sort of articles really gets to me. What happened to being there for Aussies, especially what Australia is reknown for, AGRICULTURE! If you have a look at this article and believe any of this, you have to really have a good look at yourself. At the end of the day, unfortunately milk is milk and consumers will buy whats cheaper! But please, every now and then buy a non Coles or Woolworths brand of milk! Help out the little guy living from month to month on a milk check and praying for a good season for the well being of his/her cattle. Its an extra $2/3 but it means whole lot more to the dairy farmer and his family! Rant over.
