Man, July 25th just makes me smile every year for the last nine years. Nine years ago I made the decision to fight to get my babies back from CPS. Nine years ago I decided that I really was worthy of living and began to fight to get my life back. Nine years ago, I put down that pipe that was holding me back from being the mother I really should have been and being the person God called me to be. Nine years ago, I broke free from addictions and an abusive husband. Nine years ago I traded my sorrows, I traded my pain and laid them down for the joy of the Lord. July 25, 2005 is a birthday I will celebrate in victory. NINE YEARS I HAVE BEEN CLEAN. Gods grace and my faith have my this walk so much easier and I cannot thank Him enough for molding me into the woman I am today.
