Man United ‘urged’ not to sell Chelsea target! Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke has come out and told his former club they would be committing suicide if they sold Chelsea target Wayne Rooney this summer United insist their former talisman is not for sale but Rooney is determined to engineer a move to Jose Mourinho’s side. Ex-United favourite Yorke believes the champions would be making a huge mistake in letting him go and urged them to keep him. “I just simply feel that United can’t afford to let him leave. Not just to Chelsea but to anybody, I think he is that valuable a player,” said Sky Sports expert Yorke. “He is 27, he is coming into his peak. The next four years are a vital part of his career. I feel there is much more to come from him. “I feel he just wants to play the game and he has not been able to play it in the way he likes. That free spirit, that go and play, express yourself attitude.” (Daily Star) United may not sell this summer but they will have a hard time keeping him next year, especially with his contract running down -jla
