Man am I on a soap box this week. Feel free to click unfriend after this one. I am so tired of listening or reading people bad mouth people on food stamps. Yes, there is the people who abuse it. Dont work and collect or who have more kids only to stay in the system but have you ever actually looked up the statistics from a RELIABLE source? You would be surprised. After years and years of my husband working his tail off at the city school distract and earning decent but still not even phenomenal money he was fired because he wouldnt violate fire code on class room doors for his bosses. Now we make less than half what he did make and no benefits. First off do I run and blame the president? No! We move on. Did we get food stamps? Yes! Until my daughter graduated. Should I blame the president that everyone says loves food stamps? No. We continue to move on. So just like you say I should get myself a job like you have. Why dont you try not blaming someone else and realize things change and prices go up. Bread will not always be $1, gas wont always be $3.50 thats just what happens... Always has always will. Im really starting to hate the internet!!
