Man and Lord or Truth are One That if we do not save ourselves , God can not save us implies that we and God work together to save ourselves . God is Truth. Only Truth can save humankind. However if a person does not seek the the knowledge or wisdom of salvation, a person can not save himself or herself. A person must seek God or Truth inside him or her in order to be saved. God or Truth requires a person to purify the mind and cleanse the heart before a person is graced by God to win salvation. That humanity and divinity must work together as one team through ego annihilation for the sake of human salvation. A person must travel the entire process of X, -X and X + -X through ego annihilation before a person is graced by God or Dharma . God is Dharma . God is not a deified Person. The Grace of God is Truth of Middle Path walked. The Middle Path is the Truth of Perfection of Wisdom. God is Wisdom ; God is Path. Wisdom is Grace of God which is Truth personified. God is Dharma (Truth). In Arabic language, Dharma or Truth is al-Haqiqah. al-Haqiqah is Dharma. Hinduism defines God as eternal Truth. Eternal Truth is Sanatana Dharma. Taoism defines Dharma as the Great Tao. This is how God and Buddha as Truth can be reconciled through the Unity of Polar Opposites (X + -X). The Middle Path of X +- X is perennial religion, the template of all world religions. During the Song Dynasty of imperial China, Neo-confucian scholar Chu-xi syncretized Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism into the Chinese perennial philosophy of one thread of Tao or Truth running through all world religions. Tao is Truth; Truth is Tao. Tao or Truth concurs with Dharma of the middle philosophy of Unity of yin and yang. Unity of yin and yang is the perennial Wisdom or Truth of Unity of Polar Opposites. The Unity of Polar Opposites is recognized by the Chan or Zen Patriarches the Middle philosophy of Buddhism. The Middle Philosophy of Buddhism is the bipolar Unity of Double Truth of phenomena and Principle that is harmoniously interpenetrated (Kaccayana-gotta Sutta; Bahiya Sutta; Nibbana Sutta (1-3). Avatamsaka Sutra; Vimalakirti Sutra; Platform Sutra; Heart Sutra; Diamond Sutra). We must return to the basic definition of God in order to avoid unnecessary philosophical arguments that divide us. God is Truth and not a deified Person. God incarnation in a hum person is an illusion. It is fake. God exists and nothing else exists. God is Unity. Unity exists and disunity does not exist . Disunity is mentally fabricated nu humanity. Unity is teh primordial Truth unseen by ignorant eye. Unity and disunity are mutually exclusive. When we assert that Buddha and God or any named Lord are not identical, we assert disunity. Disunity is contrary to Unity. God (Truth) says that only Unity exists and no disunity exists. God (Truth) also says that God is all-inclusive . What is all-inclusive embraces All in the One .No one or no religion or no race is excluded. Exclusion is disunity. God hates disunity. God loves only Unity because He Himself (Truth personified) is Unity . He, the Truth or Reality, is Unity (God impersonified). He is not a deified Person. No Person is God incarnate. The Bahiya Sutta defines Unity of Existence in terms of Non-duality. The Kaccayana-gotta defines Unity of Existence (Dependent co-genesis) that there is neither absolute existence nor absolute non-existence. Absolute existence (atthi: It is not) is disunity; absolute non-existence (natthi : It is not) is also disunity. Buddhism denies both It is and It is not. This is parallel to Hindu Upanisadic vision of God defined in terms Neti neti. Neti neti means Not this not that. The paths are many; the Truth is one. All minds are primordillay One Heart. All rivers are flowing into the same borderless ocean. We are all brothers and sisters of the same cosmic Family inseparate from one another. Unity is Truth; disunity is mirage. Contemplate, contemplate and contemplate until you have pierced insightfully into it. This is Zen (Truth or Wisdom) koan for all. Religion is nameless or has no label. The same Truth sets all free.
