Man assaulted - Blackett Sunday, 25 January 2015 01:23:34 PM Detectives are waiting to speak with a man who was assaulted in his home in Sydney’s west overnight. About 9.20pm (Saturday 24 January 2015), emergency services were called to a home on Mudie Place, Blackett, following reports that a man had been injured. A 46-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital with serious facial injuries. A crime scene was established at the scene and police from Mt Druitt Local Area Command are investigating the incident.
