Man charged for assaulting daughter A MAN who allegedly assaulted his eight-year-old daughter at the weekend will appear in court today. The man has been charged with one count of assault and he will be produced at the Nasinu Magistrates Court. Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the man allegedly assaulted his daughter at their home in Nadera on Saturday, causing her injuries. Ms Naisoro said the girl remains in the care of the Social Welfare Ministry. Source : Fiji Times Online
