#Man drinks #pesticides to prove undying love Sometimes a diamond isn’t enough. In an attempt to prove his undying love, a man in Panzhihua, #Sichuan Province drank a bottle of pesticides earlier this week. The man, surnamed Li, who is in his 30s, is currently recovering at Miyi County Peoples Hospital after police discovered him lying on the ground and foaming at the mouth. Li was divorced from his wife, surnamed Liu, about two weeks ago, said police. The stunt appears to have been an attempt to win her back. Liu alerted local police after she received a few photos from Li on her #WeChat account showing her distressed ex-husband drinking a bottle of toxic pesticides by a river. Police traced Lis location based on clues in the photos, and enrolled nearby residents in the search. Liu was unavailable for comment. Chinese Netizens on Sina Weibo were not exactly woebegone. “His ex-wife is a good woman, keeping her ex-husband’s number and calling the police when he was in trouble.
