Man injured in shooting By Buster Thompson An Inverness-area man was hospitalized after being shot in the head Saturday night by his roommate, according to authorities. Citrus County sheriff’s deputies responded to the house of Joshua Roberts, 30, and Angel Rodriquez, 40, on East Possum Court after reportedly receiving a call from Rodriquez, who said he had just shot his roommate, Roberts, while arguing outside their house. According to a Citrus County Sheriff’s Office news release, deputies arrived to find Roberts with a gunshot wound to his head and Rodriquez nearby with a loaded handgun in his pocket. Roberts was transported by Nature Coast EMS to the hospital, where he remains.
