Man, it was an incredible night to be on the mats at Lovatos Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!! Started the evening off teaching the Teen Warriors class, and they have really picked it up a few notches here recently, and the positive energy tonight was fantastic!! I led them through a quick warm-up and a few drills, and then I got right into teaching technique. I taught a couple open-guard sweeps when the opponent stands, and well continue to build off those sweeps all week. I ended the class with some good sparring guard drills, and I was very impressed with the technique that everyone was showing. Congrats to Jacob Morrow and Brookiee Clines for being the Teen Warrior students of the night!! Then I jumped into Professor Rafael Lovato Jr.s advanced class, and he covered some great submissions to hit in transition. I ended the evening getting some good drilling in with Fletcher Hoffman, and Im feeling great!! The time is drawing nearer and nearer!!
