Man, its hard to believe this is gonna be the last day were working in the original Schorem... Its been one hell of a three years and the floor is soaked up with blood, sweat, tears and booze... Lots and lots of booze. This is where we got started, this is where the first patrons hair was cut and this is where the boys learned the trick of the trades... We never wanted to move out of this tiny shop that we love so much but we have to with the waiting times being over 5 hours everyday and no place left to cut or shave and the patrons having to wait outside in the cold and the rain. The new shop is going to be awesome though and we tried to capture and move the spirit along with the furniture without turning it into a cutting factory, one of the main reasons why we opened Schorem in the first place, to get people to talk to each other again, turning it into that third place in society... Its still gonna be packed and we make sure that every joke cracked will be heard in the entire shop... We never stopped collecting stuff, its not gonna be a oh lets open a barbershop and be cool and make money kinda shop you see popping up everywhere but a collection of antiques, memorablia, oddities and rarities from the rich history of barbering... We really hope to see you all in the new shop hopefully without the absurd waiting times... The old Schorem is going to be turned into a little barber academy called the Old School because we just didnt want to lose what we think is Holy ground...
