Man its hard to deny how bad it is over there in the middle east right now. Like I was just discussing with a close friend of mine, awareness is the first step. Maybe you cant just change things overnight but atleast we can do our best to spread and create awareness with those closest to us. It isnt something we should just ignore. Were lucky enough that we dont have to deal with anything like this. We dont have to run away from our homes. We dont have to hide our religious beliefs. Were not getting murdered by the masses. Were free in so many ways compared to certain places. You dont have to agree or disagree with the reasons for the conflict is or even how you feel about our President. But Im sure we can all agree that no people on the earth should be getting murdered by the masses. Atleast try to do your best to share information with those closest to you, especially if you feel like the world shouldnt be like this. Nobody should be facing situations like this. Some might think its not our responsibility or another countrys responsibility. But my response is, were all humans, regardless of a country/border, we as humans this intelligent shouldnt have this continue to keep happening. Hopefully this stops... I remember reading a novel back in the day in regards to the genocide/holocaust. There was something towards the end that said that just because the holocaust was over doesnt mean that something like this wont happen again. Sadly, it most likely will as history repeats itself. And it has in many different places and now as it does once again, can we learn from it and can we do anything differently? Can we stop it faster before many more millions are killed? I hope so, hopefully the first step is gaining knowledge about issues like this instead of ignoring it. Its not fun, but hey while were sitting in front of a computer, maybe thats the least we can do. And yes its not only this conflict, there are many conflicts like this around the world.
