Man speaks his thoughts. Or maybe the thoughts of other men. Thats all they are. Puny, little, tiny, creature thoughts. Thoughts of a man with a severely limited life span (70 or 80 years tops). Thoughts of a man viewed from above as no bigger than the smallest of insects. And a mans thoughts possess all of the power and authority of being mans thoughts---meaning none at all. Whereas, on the other hand we have the infinite, eternal, Almighty God of the Bible. An Everlasting God that has always been and will always be. The Bible is not a record of the creatures thoughts but of the Creators. The God that knows all things about everything there has ever been or ever will be. This is the comparison that is in view. Man and his little mind with his feebly developed understanding of spiritual and eternal things; over against the all knowing all encompassing mind of God-----it is not much of a comparison, not even worthy to be compared. Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. 16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
