Man this was truly a Monday! I received a call this morning stating that Toby somehow worked his way out of the backyard area! Well low and behold Axel decided to find a way out to! It seems that Toby was the aggressor in this incident! After returning from the doctor this morning I went to see how bad the situation was . . wasnt good at all! I brought Axel to the vet first, they had to sedate him and stitch his wounds up. I asked if he could stay the night so that he could rest well! Toby on the other hand didnt have any bad lacerations, but his head and snout is about double the size and his front legs are swollen! He is on antibiotics and pain meds. and they gave me a spray for his facial wounds. I have to say that I am very thankful to Dr. Blake for allowing me to bring these 2 in without any funds! I pick up Axel tomorrow! It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could possibly make a donation to Foskeys Veterinarian Clinic to help me pay for these 2 guys! I couldnt find anyone to step up for Toby to take in for a couple of nights, so I made him a pallet in the Office area of the Shelter and administered his medications. Hopefully his pain meds will have him sleeping well! Tomorrow I will be attempting to clean him up! I was really amazed at how Toby allowed me to spray his face with a cleansing medication. I do believe that both dogs knew that I was only there trying to help them! If you can help me with the vet costs . . it would be so appreciated!
