#ManILoveMonday my angel on earth grew his wings today and went home. I am his BABY, his Child, his Son. Dear Daniel Gibson aka Skip, my dad even though i am not your biological son, you never treated me any different and i thank you. I remember everywhere we went everyone knew me as yours. Your child, your baby, your son. You would be on the phone with Mr.Gibson and you would hand me the phone, talk to your grandfather. Anything I wanted at the Boys&GirlsClub you would give it to me. Some of the older kids used to tell me to go get them something from the snack bar and then give it to them. They even knew you would give it to me. Staying at your house, eating all your food. Going on every field trip with you. Chasing you down the alley (running 30 MPH) trying to go home with you as you dropped me off with my mom. i remeber walking walk thru the neighborhood of the guys that kept trying to fight my brothers just to get to the Boys&GirlsClub. I remember writing DeVontay Gibson on homework and at the Boys&GirlsClub. Your love came to me at a crucial time. I dont think you know how thankful I am, how much i appreicate you, how much i love you and blessed to have you as a father. thats what hurts the most. You are my teacher of love. Love everyone. And if you can do for them, DO IT, expect nothing in return. The love you showed me cant be reciprocated. And i took it for granted. I hope I can be half the man you are and touch so many peoples lives. I wish I could get one more bear hug, hear you say awwwww(in a manly bear hug squeeze way) and a kiss. Skipper I love you and will miss you. Love your baby, your child, your son.
