Send resumes - Jim Schutz@HRSearch MRC-BusinessGroup POSITION: Manager, Human Resources LOCATION: Houston, TX INDUSTRY: Industrial Supply & Distribution COMPENSATION: $90-125K Base (DOE) + Bonus RELOCATION: Yes, client prefers Houston, TX and regionally SUMMARY: Reporting to a Vice President, Human Resources, this hands-on position will have responsibility to provide overall Human Resources support to a headquarters staff group and to design, develop and implement a wide array of updated Human Resource policies, processes, systems and initiatives, including: Compensation Plan; Succession Planning; Manpower Planning; Compliance; Staffing; HRIS, etc., that are targeted to business goals and growth. The position could require some travel. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BS/BA degree, with a minimum of 8-10 years of Human Resource generalist background, ideally with some strenght/emphasis in compensation. Experience to include: Employee Relations; Staffing; Compensation; Training & Development; Organizational Development; HR policy and process development & implementation; Change Management facilitation; Organizational Effectiveness; Manpower & Succession Planning; Compliance. In addition, requires: strong communications (verbal & written); facilitation and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to develop and drive a business-partner relationship with management team; leadership and management coaching and consulting; computer proficiency with Office Suite and HRIS. POSITION: Human Resource Business Partner LOCATION: Pasadena, TX INDUSTRY: Industry Supply & Distribution COMPENSATION: $90-125K Base (DOE) + Bonus RELOCATION: Client prefers Houston, TX and regionally SUMMARY: Reporting to a Vice President, Human Resources, the position will provide hands-on, overall Human Resource business support to a 300+ employee Business Unit, with multiple locations in the US and Canada. The position will require travel to outlying locations as needed. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BS/BA degree, with a minimum of 8-10 years Human Resource generalist experience, including: Employee Relations; Staffing; Compensation & Benefits administration (corporate driven); Training & Development; Organizational Development; Change Management; Compliance. In addition, it requires: strong communications (written & verbal), facilitation and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to develop a business-partner relationship with management team; leadership coaching and consulting; drive HR initiatives to support business goals; solid business acumen; computer proficiency with Office Suite and HRIS.
