Manager, Financial Reporting (462545-1077) Karachi, Pakistan Job Description 1) Managing financial and management reporting, overseeing implementation of Group Management Accounting Policies and lead for other initiatives. 2) Managing all inter-company transactions, share options accounting, Royalty and Dividend payments Key Roles & Responsibilities 1) Monitoring day to day activities of funds transfer pricing through automated system, monthly compliance of requirement of balance sheet manual and other capital / ALCO related policies. Oversee reporting of ALCO pack and Capital returns 2) Operational Risk related activities from KCSA, KRIs, CSTs, FCS substantiation and cost centre ownership. 3) Central coordination point Budget / forecast / strategy preparation and submission to Group and local Board. Monthly / quarterly monitoring against target and presenting the reasons for review of ExCO. 4) Oversee Finance systems, GL set-up, system Recons and roll-outs, GL maintenance activities and approve account / cost centre amendments 5) Prepare presentations / working papers / policy notes and lead ad-hoc projects Qualifications & Skills 1) Member of a professional accounting body (ICAP, ACCA, ICAEW, ICMAP, CIMA) with at least 8 years working experience, in the financial services sector. 2) Working knowledge of SBP regulations, accounting standards and risk management guidelines 3) Experience of cost accounting 4) Clear and strong writing and presentation skills 5) Strong command over spreadsheet tools 6) Experience of Group Reporting, senior management presentations and working on a bank GL 7) Flexible in performing structured and ad-hoc work and turning around in short deadlines How To Apply You can search and view current opportunities across our organisation and apply immediately by visiting standardchartered and selecting Careers.
