Managers match report Upton United u 10s hosted North Gawber in a top of the table clash. First half was evenly matched with some great chances falling to Uptons Joe Batty. The second half saw North Gawbers keeper in execeptional form to keep them in the game. A minor lapse of concentration by Upton allowed Gawber to nick the opener. United put the pressure on in the last 5 minutes and were the best side throughout the match, yet ended the game 1-0 down. Fantastic work ethic and commitment by all players. M.O.M - Josh Baker. The second match United came out on fire, and Hayden Pickard smashed one in the top corner from 20 yards, after some good work by Dylan Moore, United had a corner headed in by Tom Hazelgrave. Gawber pulled one back to make it 2-1 at the interval. Upton controlled the second half and played some fantastic football, and with 5 mins to go M.O.M Hayden Pickard and Tim Whitaker set up the inform Tommy Smallman to end the game 3-1.
