It is important that all business capture the information about their customers from starting up the company to ensure that they have quality data to be able to analyse their business. Microsoft Access can be used to create databases and I know the guys were impressed at how each it is to create a database in 2014, from what they had seen previously. The benefit of Access and SharePoint is that you can create a database based on a SharePoint List or you can create a Database which sits as a Tab in SharePoint. You can create a contacts database for example to hold all your contacts which enables everyone using the SharePoint site to work from the same list of Contacts.
