Manchester United announced today that Sir Alex Ferguson will be assisting David Moyes until the end of the season. They held their first training session together ahead of Manchester Uniteds game with Bayern Munich. Manchester United owners, the Glazer Family, are optimistic that Fergies influence will heal the reported dressing room unrest led by senior players such as Ryan Giggs. Ferguson selected former Everton coach Moyes as his successor after twenty years as Unit...ed coach. Ferguson was knighted for services to football by the queen in 1999.
