Manchester United are favourites to sign Everton full-back Seamus Coleman before the end of the current transfer window - with the bookmakers, at least. SkyBet currently have the defending Premier League champions as 9/2 favourites to land the Republic of Ireland international, with Arsenal priced next at 12/1. Barcelona are third on the list at 33/1, with Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City also coming in at the same odds. 25-year-old Coleman joined the Toffees from Irish outfit Sligo Rovers back in 2009 and has slowly gone onto establish a reputation as one of the Premier Leagues top-right backs. This season has been a particularly strong one, with Coleman having notched five goals in 22 top-flight appearances under the management of popular Spaniard Roberto Martinez. Colemans form has been so impressive that Manchester United were linked with a £15 million bid for the player earlier this month. Arsenal also reportedly view him as an ideal replacement for Bacary Sagna, with the experienced Frenchman out of contract at the end of the 2013/14 campaign. Manchester United boss David Moyes is obviously very familiar with Colemans talent, with the Scot having overseen his arrival and subsequent integration at Everton during his hugely-impressive 11-year stint in the managerial dugout at Goodison Park. With Rafael da Silva seemingly having nailed down the starting spot at Old Trafford in recent times, the question of whether Manchester United need a new right-back is open for considerable debate.
