Manchester United boss David Moyes has indicated Marouane - TopicsExpress

Manchester United boss David Moyes has indicated Marouane Fellaini knows he can play better after his slow start to life at Old Trafford. Fellaini joined United from Everton for £27 million in the summer but has found it difficult to adapt to life at his new club. The midfielder recently saw red in Uniteds Champions League tie draw with Real Sociedad and has not started a Premier League game since October 19. However, Moyes believes Fellaini is yet to produce his best form but believes his acquisition - who he managed at Everton - will turn his fortunes around. He knows he can play better. When he came into the team, we were not playing as well as we would have hoped, Moyes said. But, for a lot of people who join Manchester United, it doesnt always happen as quickly as you would like. He needed to take time, but we threw him in very quickly. He also has a wrist injury that he will need an operation for and I think its a little bit that hes protecting it. But he will be fine for us - we just have to give him a chance.
