Manchester United have further stepped up their bid to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club, according to The Sun. The Red Devils look to capitalise on the superstar’s uncertain future at Real Madrid with a big money transfer. Cash-in Reports have stated that Ronaldo will not sign a new contract and has just two years remaining on his current deal. And United may be willing to pay £65million plus a player to capture the former Old Trafford hero. So this may be the last chance for the La Liga side to get back a considerable portion of what theypaid for him in 2009. Uncertain Numerous reports have also stated that Ronaldo has put his Madrid villa up for sale and he did not play in the final game of the season. This may have put David Moyes and United on high alert and could be signalling the 28-year-old’s intentions. Ronaldo looks to have become disillusioned with life at the Bernabeu and would welcome a return to his former club. Although he has missed the chance to link back up with Sir Alex Ferguson, who retired last month. However Fergie still has a role to play at the club, which could attract Ronaldo further. United’s sponsors Nike are thought to be willing to stump upmoney to fund the transfer, as theclub look to make the Portuguese forward their joint top earner on £250,000-a-week.
