Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind reflects on his time in the Premier League so far. Daley Blind has outlined the differences between Manchester United and Ajax. The Netherlands international midfielder joined the Premier League outfit from Ajax on transfer deadline day for a fee of £14 million. The 24-year-old had been on the books of the Dutch giants since 1998 and established himself as one of their key places in their recent Eredivisie success. Blind has now explained the difference between playing in the Dutch top flight and in the Premier League. ‘There are some differences of course’, he told MUTV. ‘This club is much bigger than Ajax, they are a big club of course but United are [famous] around the whole world. Theres more pressure here but its the same in Holland if you dont win a game, youll get people complaining. ‘The biggest difference is that Manchester United is known all over the world, were such a big club. The Premier League is the big difference with the atmosphere and the stadiums, its what Im excited about. ‘The Premier League is big, its harder and its faster and Im really excited for every game, especially the home games as I get very excited about walking on the pitch’. Blind seems to have settled in well in the Premier League and is a key member of Louis van Gaal’s side. In four league appearances so far this season, he has created three chances, while having a pass accuracy of 89%.
