Manchester United plc today announced the selling of 8,000,000 (5%) of its Class A Ordinary Share. After the sales the Owners will still own 85%. Based on current price, the Glazers would make $154 (£95m). Concerning the transfer market it will have direct effect on what United can spend althou a club statement said Manchester United will not receive any proceeds from the sale [Source: manutd, Wall Street Journal]
