Manchester United star David de Gea has told captain Wayne Rooney and the rest of his Red Devils team-mates that hes staying at the club, despite strong interest from Real Madrid. De Gea is Madrids top transfer target and they are reportedly prepared to smash the world transfer record for a goalkeeper to make him their new number one, which is no surprise given his fantastic form over the last 18 months. The Sun believe any efforts to prise him away from Old Trafford will come up short though, with De Gea firmly focused on putting down roots at United and ready to sign a new deal to prove it.
