Manchester United want to sign Dybala, say Palermo By Harry Sherlock3 The 21-year-old striker has attracted interest from a number of European clubs, and president Maurizio Zamparini claims the Premier League side have had an approach rejected Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini claims he has rebuffed an approach from Manchester United for Paulo Dybala. GOAL PROFILE Paulo Dybala, the man in the Messi mould The 21-year-old, labelled the next Sergio Aguero by Zamparini, joined the Serie A side for £9 million after just one season with Argentine club Instituto, and has since scored 17 goals for the Italians, including nine in 2014-15. Dybala has subsequently been linked with a number of elite European clubs – he recently told Goal that it is incredible to be linked with the likes of Arsenal – and Zamparini has now claimed that United have been in touch. And although the 73-year-old insists he wants big money to part with the young talent, he has left the door open to a summer move. Dybala is worth over €40m [£31m] but I won’t sell him until June, Zamparini said to Radio Due. Many foreign clubs asked after him, including Manchester United. I told the English side that he is not for sale right now, but we can talk about it again in six months. In my view, he is the best striker in Europe at the moment.
