Mandera County is undergoing an unbelievable transformation from what was once a dried up vast land to an oasis of green farmland. Mandera MCA’s toured Israel last year to learn new farming techniques and the results have started showing after the revival of Gadudia and Border Point 1 irrigation schemes. Mandera now produces maize, watermelons, citrus fruits, onions, tomatoes, bananas, kale, sesame seeds, cowpeas and mangoes. #KenyanIsrael
