Manhattan ACC has been exceptionally impatient with small dogs who act out a little in the shelter environment, recently. Take Billy, for example. Hes a small guy, perfect for the city, and he is only two-years-old. His kind os sold for hundreds on Craigslist... He has a pretty crappy owner dump sheet, and he failed a few items on his SAFER, particularly when it came to resource guarding. This is when ACCs behavior staff is supposed to do some enrichment and work with a dog. Uh-huh... This 12-pounder is sitting on death row tonight, instead of being enriched. If you can foster or want to adopt him, the only way to do so is by applying to New Hope rescues. If no one does, Billy will end up in a tiny, black body bag tomorrow. https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=702471546432394&set=a.611290788883804.1073741851.152876678058553&type=3&theater
