Maniacs, today marks what would have been Marie Balfanzs 47th birthday. Late evening on the last day of December, 2013, Francie Holt, Maries best friend, barely able to speak through her grief, called to tell me Marie had passed. Were mortal. That is not in dispute. However, to lose someone like Marie, who was so close to SO many of us here, was and still remains for many a hard pill to swallow. It was decided that we needed to do something special by which to remember Marie. To celebrate the memory of the person we knew. As such a project to create wristbands was done and today is the only truly appropriate day to unveil them. The four IKON colors, Red, Blue Green and Purple are represented. 250 of each color have been ordered and will be aviable to purchase, with the profits going to Camp Companion, an animal rescue service in Minnesota, in Maries name. In the pics attached, the top line is the outside of the band. The bottom line is printed inside the band. Each band will be $3.25 or all four for $10.00 plus $1.00 shipping.
