Manic Monday: The dads diary - Ever been in that situation where u planned a meeting to end at 1 oclock so you can just pack, leave and pick up your kiddo at school, but heyho the meeting ends a quarter later? Dang, your adrenaline spikes to the max, you do a century sprint to the car and F1 your way to her school and your heart skips a beat when shes not where you agreed shell wait. You get down the car do a radar sweep but cant find her and guilt builds up and u feel a moment of deathly silence in your head. You start walking around the school compound and spotted her with eagle eye precision trying to operate the vending machines, laughing innocently with friends deciding what to do because they were short of one coin. You have now truly experience the meaning of the word relief, and understand what millions of working moms and dads go through. Hats off to you parents!
